Great Grandma's Birthday

This is Kristin's Grandma celebrating her birthday at our place. When you have children, you start referring to people by the title relevant to the children - so Grandma becomes Great-Grandma, your parents and in-laws become "Nannie, Poppy, Grandma, Grandpa" and the prefix "Uncle" and "Aunty" starts popping up everywhere amongst siblings and friends.

We had fun pretending Grandma was 21 because 80-odd candles would have been a bit much. Congratulations Great-Grandma.

By the way, for sugar-holics this was a Swedish Pineapple cake with cream cheese based icing. Ask us if you want the recipe!
