The Clipsal 500 Adelaide motor race kicked off the V8 Supercar season in Australia last weekend.
While the track was still up, we thought we'd go down and have a look. Joshua is a big fan of the Cars movie and likes to be called "Lightning McQueen". So we thought he might like to ride his little bike-with-trainer-wheels on Pit Straight. Joshua loved looking inside the Pits and we got to see two "Mack" trucks - large painted trucks with the V8 Supercar logos on the sides.
Joshua had a pit-stop with his trusty "Guido" - Simeon Luke (with spanner, which we had with us because a pedal on Joshua's bike kept falling off. That's why I am pulling him along Pit Straight above).
...and here we are before we leave, posing alongside the "Adelaide" logo which appeared at the entrance to the Pits:
