We will, we will Rech Qu!

Yes, the chant will be heard again from The Stand at Hindmarsh Stadium, and what a joy that will be! The real football season is about to begin, and consideration of a family membership has elevated for us with the news that Shengqing Qu, the Chinese import, will return for Adelaide United's "Reds" for the 06-07 campaign. The chant that we will "Rech Qu" is the combination of our two strike threats, Qu and Brazilian-born Fernando Rech. Qu's re-signing is sensational and unexpected news for the club and league. Qu's goals last season were gems. I was sitting on the flank from which Qu scored an exquisite chip over the Queensland Roar keeper Willis which just lifted me out of my seat in pure appreciation. Let's hope he's match fit (he's been playing in the Chinese 2nd Division apparently) and ready to score more goals in 2006-07.
