This is more so an experiment with Google reader than an expression of my view that this is really newsworthy. I have in the past told people to use Google Desktop Search as a way of keeping up with changes to other people's blogs. Now I think web-based RSS feeds is a better way, using the Google reader. The beauty is that you can read a post and on the "more actions" tab actually do what I have done here, which is blog on a news item of interest.
