Easter Monday: Cricket in a familiar park

After spending a few hours in Glenelg with Poppy, Nannie, Nanna and Poppa Scholz and EllieJordan, Rikki took Joshua and Simeon to a park to play cricket. They had decided to look for a park somewhere and were going by Grandpa and Grandma's former Glenelg North home for a look - and decided to have a hit for old time's sake at the park at the back of the old house.

Joshua is learning to be a good hitter of the ball.

The bat is a bit small for Daddy.

Two cute little boys in the park.

The double carport is the rear entrance to Grandpa and Grandma's old house. Not much seems to have changed, apart from the park being in poor shape due to a lack of water. It was a bit eerie playing there and not being able to go back into the house, or waiting for Kristin's former cocker spaniel Toby to come racing out of the carpark. Fond memories from our "courting years"
