Kristin's Dad and I sat amongst one of two bands of West Coast supporters (a consequence of buying tickets late) and endured the roller-coaster of the Crows leading, falling over and then trying to stumble over the line - a formula Rob and I are all too familiar with in our years watching the Crows. This was the preliminary final at home against West Coast, which we lost by about 11 points. Over 50,000 people - almost a ground record (only possible in recent times due to this stand at the top of the photo) attended and the atmosphere was electric. I told the West Coast chap next to me as we left, "Congratulations, you'll beat Sydney too. Good luck". Seems I was right about Sydney, and the luck.
