It looks like our house purchase is back on track again, after some scares I won't go into now. By the end of the month we should hopefully be in our nice big new home, closer to the city. We have felt the Lord's hand in our move from the Riverland through to this particular property, and we feel that it is just perfect for us at this stage in our life.
I am also excited about the approaching World Cup. It is fantastic to see the support across the media and public for the Socceroos. I believe we will not have our "day in the sun" and then sneak back into the shadows. Football will come into the open and remain there for good. Apparently Nine's "The Footy Show" is going to cover, to some extent, the World Cup. Even they acknowledge the drawing power of the greatest show on earth (yes, that's right, even more popular than the Olympic Games).
So come on Australia! - tune in on June 12 for the first and crucial game against Japan at 11:00pm EST.
